Designes Unique was founded by Beth Thomason in 1982. The company began with local sales of custom dance costumes.
Ms. Thomason has designed and produced costumes for many choreographers. She has also taught costuming for the dance department at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
Designes Unique has made costumes for many dance companies, including: Ballet Concerto, Dallas Black Dance Theater, The Bruce Lea Dancers, and The Texas Clogging Company.
Since 1982 Designes Unique has grown and made quality costume designs at reasonable prices available by mail order. However, the many requests for fabric sales have been overlooked until now. With more than $50,000 of fabrics and notions in inventory, we are pleased to offer our resources to make fabric orders open to the public with an online store.
In an effort to keep cost down, we do not have a location open to the public or accept phone orders at this time. Fabrics are only available to buy online or by mail. If you wish to pay by personal check or money order, mail it with a copy of your order to the address below.
